Beef jerky too salty!! HELP!!?

My husband made a batch of beef jerky and accidentally put too much seasoning in it. Now it tastes way too salty and no one wants to eat it. I paid $20 just for the beef so I really didn't want to throw it away. Does anyone have any suggestions as to anything I can do that will reduce some of the saltiness? Any help would be appreciated. :)
