Sugar Glider as pet?

I'm not exactly sure about the sugar gliders, but I did have a flying squirrel, and they are pretty much the same thing. They just look different. She was very sweet. I loved having her. I would let her out of her cage and she would curl up in a ball inside my pocket, or I'd let her run around for a little bit, but she was very tame, so she would glide back and forth from me to my husband. Or from me to other things. But never to far. I loved having her. I was lucky to have gotten her when she was already tamed. I know if you get them small you have to do all the taming yourself. Unless you get one that's a little older that the breeders have already trained. But you can buy books to teach you how to do tame them. And as for your cat, as long as your cat likes little animals I think he'll be fine. so good luck and enjoy.
