Are you someone who would like Congress to ban gas-powered cars to help the environment?

I'm wondering if anyone reading this would be in favor of banning gas-powered cars and that all cars registered in the U.S. must be electric vehicles. People would surely be allowed to own gas-powered vehicles but not legally drive them on public roads. Hypothetically this couldn't be enacted immediately but within a few years. This type of legislation could be monumental for the environment. Yes? No?
