How can I become a more articulate speaker?

Good speakers do not come over as orators; they are good conversationalists, who are well-informed on their subject matter. Unless you can give your listeners new slants on old subjects or add to a listener's knowledge in such a way as to induce him/her to wish you'd never stop talking, then just ask for questions from the audience.
