I'm 50 lbs overweight - do you think my doc would prescribe me an appetite suppressant?

Ok before you say - OH YOU'RE LAZY BLAH BLAH BLAH... I've been on anti-depressants for 2 years and gained 50 lbs. I can't lose it and have definitely tried. The sucky part is I'm not even getting better mentally because the more I weigh, the more depressed I get. It's nearly pointless. Anyway I feel like if I could get my appetite under control I might be able to start feeling better, exercising, and maybe actually lose weight. Then maybe I can get my depression under control. I saw on askapatient.com that there are a couple prescription appetite suppressants that work awesome. Do you think she'd prescribe me one if I asked? I'm considered obese by BMI standard.... OMG I wish I was dead. Seriously I hate myself more than anything.
