Reptile Questions? ( Help Iguana/Leopard Gecko owners )?

I recently got an iguana, I only gave it 2 weeks to get acclimated, but she did, now the taming process has started and she doing well, is it okay that i handle her everyday for 10 mins and repeat 2 times a day. I'm settling everything with my iguana and all I need is a cage for when she grows to an adult. what dimensions would be best, smallest possible? ( but I still want her to like its space ) I want a cube maybe 5ft tall wide and long. Also my mom gave me a Red-Eared Slider I know so little and I didn't even ask for one, but she gave me I really want a better owner to adopt it suggestions??? Now i want to get another pet, my friends think I should start researching on Leopard Geckos, I don't really like geckos and my dad thinks theyre really really wierd and gross, I'm beginning to like them, please tell me the first things to know about leos and other pet's like leos, not Beardies nor skinks, just suggest but I guess the Geckos the closest..... teach me to consider them i think
