Why are anime fans considered weird?

Well anime fans can be very loud and not that they don't care what others think but they do what they want to do despite what they look like to others. When people rant on about 'childish cartoons' and weird 'japanese animations' to other people it's not normal it's a bit immature, now don't get me wrong i looove anime but i realise that anime fans are loud that we tend to yell out when we're excited, yes that's it anime fans really express themselves. and to some others it's just too obnoxious and wild that to them anime fans seem weird.
